The bonnet is made-up in two parts: main bonnet, cords for securing under baby’s chin. The cords can be made longer or shorter depending on your style preferences or amounts of yarn you have.

At the bottom left or right front corner of the bonnet insert your hook and pull through the loop made so that 2-3” are pulled through. Make a slip knot by putting the tails through the loop and fasten securely.
That the strands and braid leaving 1-2” of yarn and fasten off with a knot.
Repeat this process for the second braid.Your finished bonnet is now ready to go out into the world.
