This is a super easy crochet chunky scarf pattern that’s great for the chilly autumn nights and throughout winter.

This piece is made flat and then joined at the end to make the infinity scarf. If you are confident with working in the round then it would be possible to adjust this pattern to accommodate this.

SIZING

Although the pattern states that you will make it to 60cm in length you can of course make this smaller or larger to your tastes as long as you follow the 2 row repeat.

I was able to make this scarf with one 300g ball of Aran yarn from a company called Premium Yarn, however as long as you have about 600m of Aran yarn you can do this with any brand that you like.

Yarn weight: Aran / 10 ply (8 wpi)

Gauge: 4 stitches and 2 rows = 1 inch

Hook size: 5.0 mm (H)

Yardage: 601 - 656 yards (550 - 600 m)

This pattern is suitable for advanced beginners. Basic crochet stitches are used but you will also need to be comfortable working in front and back posts.
