If you are completely new to knitting gloves I would recommend starting with the Knitted Chunky Mittens, however if you would like to work the gloves in flat knitting then the Braided Cable Glove is the way to go 😊

Rice Stitch Fingerless Gloves
The Rice Stitch is a wonderful addition to any knitter’s catalogue and easy to get the hang of too. To complete this pattern you will ideally be an advanced beginner – intermediate skilled knitter as you will be required to be comfortable knitting in the round and know how to do the knit 1 below stitch variation. I do include extra support for both of these techniques just in case you would like it.

Cable Braided Gloves
I love making these fingerless mittens in Autumn colours as the braided cable really pops out at the front of the hand. These are really quick and easy to knit up if you are proficient with making cables and make a great gift for birthdays and Christmas.

Bee Stitch Fingerless Gloves
The Bee Stitch is a wonderful addition to any knitter’s catalog and easy to get the hang of too. As you work through the pattern you’ll notice that the fingerless mittens have a soft squishy texture start to emerge – this is because of the layered rows that you are creating.
